Fort Dodge man sentenced to 19 years for methamphetamine trafficking

A Fort Dodge man with a lengthy criminal record has been sentenced to 19 years in federal prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy. Otis Lamont Foy, Jr., age 29, pleaded guilty on July 17, 2025, to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine after previously being convicted of a serious drug felony.

The sentencing took place on February 12, 2026. Foy’s conviction and sentence are part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address drug trafficking offenses in the region.
