The Iowa Bar Association highlighted on Mar. 31 attorney Ally Bedwell, who serves the Osceola and Southern Iowa communities through her work at Reynoldson, Van Werden & McCoy, L.L.P.

The recognition aims to bring attention to legal professionals working in rural areas of the state and the variety of services they provide. Such spotlights can help inform residents about available legal resources in their communities.

Bedwell said her primary practice areas include family law, guardianships and conservatorships, estate planning, probate, and taxation. She noted that this variety allows her to assist many different parts of the community. “I am passionate about helping people in all areas and feel lucky that rural practice allows me to practice such a variety,” Bedwell said.

Bedwell is a graduate of Drake University Law School. Her work reflects the diverse needs found within smaller communities like Osceola.

Highlighting attorneys like Bedwell may encourage more law graduates to consider careers serving rural populations where access to legal services can be limited.
