The Iowa Paralegal Association announced on Apr. 15 that registration is now open for its 2026 Spring Seminar, which will take place in person at the Courtyard by Marriott in Ankeny on May 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is open to anyone interested and offers Continuing Legal Education credit to attendees.
The seminar aims to provide educational opportunities and professional development for paralegals and others working in the legal field. Registration fees are set at $110 for members, $160 for non-members, and $35 for student members.
Scheduled presentations include a keynote address by Iowa Supreme Court Justice Edward M. Mansfield, as well as sessions on topics such as seller impersonation fraud, contracts, artificial intelligence tools for lawyers, immigration law, discovery procedures, legislative updates, available legal aid services in Iowa, and cybersecurity ethics. A continental breakfast and luncheon will be provided during the event. There will also be a networking event held the evening before the seminar.
