The Iowa State Bar Association (ISBA) announced on April 15 that it will host the 2026 Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Seminar on Friday, April 24. The event is open to mediators and arbitrators, who can attend in person at the ISBA Building or join via live webinar.
The seminar aims to provide practical insight, updates, and opportunities for professional connection among practitioners. It begins with a complimentary dinner on Thursday, April 23, followed by a virtual keynote from Susan Guthrie focusing on strategies to enhance professional presence and marketing approaches.
Friday’s agenda includes sessions addressing current challenges in ADR practice. Featured presentations are “The Future of ADR” with Katherine Gloede and Joseph Padjune from the American Arbitration Association, as well as a panel titled “Mastering Matrimonial Mediation” featuring Anjie Shutts and Jacob Koller.
