The Iowa State Bar Association announced on Mar. 25 that its ISBA2Go app is becoming an important tool for members, providing instant access to resources needed in daily legal practice.

The association said the app helps legal professionals stay connected and efficient, whether they are in the office, at court, or traveling. The announcement emphasized that ISBA2Go offers more than just news updates and event listings.

According to the association, “The ISBA2Go homepage is designed to keep you informed and connected in seconds. Members can quickly view the latest ISBA updates, browse upcoming events and CLE opportunities, and access articles from the most recent Iowa Lawyer magazine.” The app also provides access to member directories as well as court and vendor information.

A key feature of ISBA2Go is its Resources tab. Through this section, users can reach tools such as the Build the Bar Mentorship Program, Career Center, jury instructions for civil and criminal cases, a verdict reporter, guides on client file retention and closing a practice, an inclusion reference guide, law practice management hub, and title standards. The association said these resources are now available outside of traditional office settings.

Members can also connect with partners like Lockton for professional liability insurance; USI Affinity for member insurance programs; Trustifi for email security; and vLex Fastcase for legal research services through the app.

“Legal professionals are increasingly mobile,” according to the statement. “ISBA2Go was built with that reality in mind.” The association encouraged members who have not yet tried the app to explore its features.
